The brief
Nelleke had a WordPress site full of paintings, exhibitions and publications. Adding each new work took effort, and the site had to become calmer and faster, without losing anything.
The design was made together with graphic designer Yanis Berrewaerts; I built the site, the editor and the move of all existing content.
What I built

One painting at a time
Each work stands alone on the screen, with its title, year, medium and dimensions below.

Exhibitions & publications
Each exhibition or publication has a text and a series of installation views or photos.

Everything moved automatically
An import script brought over every painting, text and original image from the old site, without retyping.
04
Her own editor
Nelleke manages works, exhibitions, publications and her CV in simple forms, and sets the order herself.
