The brief

Pulse Machine is a cover band with five musicians and a booker. Everything ran through group chats: who can make which date, what do we play, who paid for what. Messages got buried and nobody had the overview.

The brief was one place for everything the band does, working just as well on a phone in the rehearsal room as on the booker’s laptop.

What I built

01

Availability per show

For a request, every member votes yes or no per candidate date; the booker sees right away which date works.

02

Calendar & rehearsals

Shows and rehearsals in one calendar, with the driving distance from each member’s home and the weather for every show.

03

Setlists & repertoire

Songs are looked up with their length; setlists add up their own running time.

04

Shared costs

Expenses are split fairly: who paid what, who still owes whom and who pays next.

05

Roles & notifications

Members and the booker each see what matters to them, with Google sign-in and push notifications for whatever needs attention.
