The brief
Yanis’s work is full of motion: identities, video loops and 3D for music, fashion, performance and queer culture. On his old WordPress site adding a project was a chore every time, and the work didn’t come into its own.
Yanis made the design; my job was to build it down to the details, and to make upkeep so simple that he adds a project with the exports he already makes for Instagram.

His design, down to the details
On the home page the projects slide sideways as you scroll; on a phone they become a simple list.

Filters by kind of work
Identity, motion design, 3D…: one click shows only that work, including on the project pages.

Projects without a developer
Yanis adds projects himself, picks the cover, builds rows of images and puts everything in order by dragging.

Video the way he makes it
Images and videos appear at their own ratio, never cropped, and only load when you need them.

Hosting & backups
Hosted and backed up every night; updates go live automatically.
